NETTalk: Recruitment and Retention with Public Service Loan Forgiveness

NJHSA member agencies are exploring ways to recruit and retain the best talent. One way to do so is through the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program.
We will have speakers from Protect Borrowers talking to us about how to ensure that your agency is helping qualified staff members take advantage of this government program designed to help the non-profit sector attract and retain the best talent.
The PSLF Program, which was established under the College Cost Reduction and Access Act of 2007, permits Direct Loan borrowers who make 120 qualifying monthly payments (10 years) under a qualifying repayment plan, while working full-time for a qualifying employer (Non-profit or Government), to have the remainder of their balance forgiven.
